Bovey & Heathfield Repair Cafe offer free repairs for household items – electrical, mechanical, textiles, jewellery, furniture, laptops and bikes.  We are a group of volunteers meeting on the third Saturday of each month in Bovey Tracey Methodist church fixing things for free and supporting our community to reduce waste and build a more sustainable future.

Fourthly, here is some information about what the Bovey Tracey Local Group for Devon Wildlife Trust are doing:

Wild About Gardens

What’s so important about our gardens?  Well, there are over 24 million of them in the UK and the way they are managed can make a big difference for wildlife!

Come and see us at our stall and find out who lives in your garden, the importance of bees and other insects and how you can help your local wildlife.

As well as lots of information and helpful leaflets there will be bee-friendly seed giveaways plus a children’s craft activity.

Bovey Tracey Local Group is a volunteer lead group who promote understanding and awareness of wildlife in Devon, particularly in the Bovey Tracey area through monthly walks, talks and events.
