Plant a pizza with Gibside

Join the Gibside gardeners to learn how to grow your own pizza toppings. Decorate your own plant pot and then fill it with a selection of young plants provided, which may include tomato, pepper, aubergine or chilli, and culinary herbs. Take your creation home to grow in your own garden, or on a balcony or windowsill.

Adults and children of all ages welcome. £15 per ticket, booking required. One plant pot per ticket purchased, accompanying adults welcome. Parental supervision is required at all times. Price includes the plant pot, materials to decorate it and four young plants. Site admission is not included.

Please bear in mind when making travel plans that the terracotta plant pot you take home will be heavy.

Please bear in mind that this workshop takes place outside. We recommend weather appropriate clothing and shoes.
