An Eco Walk on Berkhamsted Common

Meet at the Car Park at top of New Road Berkhamsted.  What3words ///wove.swept.lime

A 1 – 1.5 hour walk through beautiful Berkhamsted Countryside.

Along the way, we will see a variety of features designed to stimulate conversations on wildlife, conservation, rewilding, agriculture, and climate change.

Some of the sites:  We will be seeing WWI trenches, ancient coppiced beechwoods, colonies of honey bees, conservation grazing, and the wide variety of wildlife that lives in these acid grasslands and successional forests.
