The ethics on which permaculture builds are: “Care of the Earth: Provision for all life systems to continue and multiply”. “Care of people: Provision for people to access those resources necessary for their existence”. Our community gardener, Mary Acton Adams, will outline the ethics of permaculture. Mary will give examples of how permaculture is adopted in our stewardship of the four acre urban community garden. The session will include a practical task and there will be scope for questions and networking.
