Friday 24 May
Visitors are invited to take a walk on the wild side as they go on the search for the bats who make their home in the grounds of Anne Hathaway’s Cottage and uncover the secrets of creating a bat-friendly environment.
Attendees will join an expert guide from Warwickshire Bats as they take them on a journey into the darkness and illuminate the fascinating world of bats, dispelling the myths and highlighting the important contributions they bring to a habitat.
They will also discover the work that has gone into ensuring that the grounds of Anne Hathaway’s Cottage are able to support a thriving bat population, alongside the wider biodiversity efforts that are underway as part of the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust’s Sustainable Shakespeare initiative.
