Brush up your Birds: Get to know your garden birds

If you love to watch the birds in your garden or local park and want to know about them, this bird walk and talk is perfect.

Following a short talk to identify the birds you’re most likely to see in your garden or when you’re out and about – from robins and tits to buzzards and woodpeckers – you’ll head out with our rangers for a bit of bird-spotting and put into practice your new-found knowledge of plumage and bird song.

This free ‘walk and talk’ workshop is part of Scotney’s Great Big Green Week Festival and is included with your admission (free for NT members) but, as places are limited, you should reserve your place using the link below to avoid disappointment. Once you have reserved your place, please book your car parking via the Scotney website, NT app or by calling 0344 249 1895.

This session is aimed at people with with little or no prior knowledge of birds.
