Climate Action Scorecards: What do the results tell us?

Climate Emergency UK, along with the help of over 200 volunteers, created the Council Climate Action Scorecards to measure actions taken by UK councils to tackle the climate and ecological emergencies.

Actions councils can take to fight climate change and protect biodiversity in your local area include retrofitting social housing, making active travel routes safer and empowering communities to lead on climate friendly initiatives. Will you join us and find out how you can use the Scorecards to win further climate action?

This session will cover:

– How to use the Climate Action Scorecards website to find information about climate action happening in your local area.

– What the results tell us about council climate action across the UK.

– How you can use the Scorecards results in your local area  to inform your campaign.

This event is a general introduction to the Scorecards, no prior knowledge or experience is needed to enjoy the workshop! Your facilitator will be Annie, Operations Director at Climate Emergency UK.
