Climate Fresk Workshop

Please book your place on: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/climate-fresk-tickets-893124418177?

This collaborative Climate Fresk workshop will teach you the fundamental science behind climate change and empower you to take action.

Led by a facilitator, participants are invited to take an active role and use their collective intelligence to learn about climate change. Through a shared understanding of the mechanisms at work, Climate Fresk enables participants to have an open and positive conversation about climate change and the solutions.

The workshop is divided into three parts:

Part 1 is an interactive card game. The cards contain causes and effects of the climate system, and it is your goal to arrange the cards to reveal the connections, and how human activity leads to major impacts on our world. The facilitator will guide you on the journey, offering new insights and a broad perspective on the challenges we face.

The story of the climate crisis can be a difficult one to hear, so in Part 2 of the workshop, we reflect on what we have learnt and share the impact of what we’ve discovered. This part of the process helps us acknowledge and process how climate change can make us feel before we move towards action.

Part 3 of the workshop is a collective brainstorming session where we work together to identify positive actions we can take at an individual and collective level.

Participants leave the workshop having formed a strong bond with each other and better equipped to talk about climate change and implement the climate actions that they have identified.
