Saturday 8 June

Darlington Eco Fair

Free family fun at Darlington’s Eco Fair

Enjoy a planet friendly day of free family fun on the market square and around the town centre on Saturday 8 June 10am-3pm.

There’ll be free arts and crafts, face painting, seed planting and swapping, cycle-powered smoothie making, bird food making, water refills, storytelling, photo galleries and much more to explore. Browse the stalls for local food, beauty products, jewellery, crafts and information on how you can live in a more planet friendly way. There will also be local volunteering opportunities on offer.

Meet the teams from Northumbria Water, Water Aid, Sustrans, Arriva, The Woodland Trust, Queensway Dentist and Darlington Beekeepers. You can explore different themes of water, transport, energy, food, wildlife and nature – and find out how you can look after yourself and the planet.

Find out more about your carbon footprint in the eco activity trail with free stamping points and prize offers across the town or take a wildlife wander and learn more about the nature on your doorstep.
