Saturday 8 June
Godmanchester’s first Eco Fair is a great opportunity for people to visit our Nursery and meet lots of local business, charities and community groups who all share the common aim of providing goods and services in a way which doesn’t harm our environment.
We will also have a packed programme of activities aimed at getting children interested in nature and making the most of the great outdoors.
Our Muddy Trowel Cafe will be open all day and selling homemade cakes made with the produce we grow in our own Orchard and Market Garden. Our Nursery will also be open with a fantastic range of plants that we grow on site.

With the support of Godmanchester Town Council, Godmanchester’s first Green Weekend will take place at the Godmanchester Community Plant Nursery and will include an Eco Fair, a programme of activities for children, green-themed talks, Yoga in the Orchard and a Plant Swap.
The aim of the Weekend is to enable local businesses, charities and community groups to promote the eco friendly goods and services which they offer and, to encourage invidiuals to think about how they can make swaps to help protect the environment.
