Saturday 15 June
Are you new to volunteering? Then this is your chance to come out to the fantastic Heart of England Forest to see if helping to manage and protect this local natural resource is for you! From learning new skills and building confidence, to reaping the benefits both physically and mentally from spending time in the outdoors, there are lots of advantages to giving your time whilst taking action on climate change.
This is a FREE outdoor event on uneven, perhaps muddy ground so please wear suitable footwear such as walking boots or wellies, warm layers of clothing (long trousers or leggings essential), hat and scarf if it’s cold and a waterproof jacket if it’s raining. If you don’t have such items, don’t worry as we’re happy to provide you with waterproofs and wellies for the session if you need them. We will also provide suitable working gloves.
Hot drinks and biscuits will be available but please bring your own water/drink bottle.
This is a free event and tickets are available via Eventbrite.
