Monday 10 June
We will be hosting a Clothes Swap week where anyone can trade said clothes with others for items they would like!
Every week in the UK 38 million items of new clothing are being bought and 11 million items of clothing end up in the landfill. Our aim is to raise awareness in how fast-fashion is damaging the environment and that perfectly good items are being lost to landfills, when they could be exchanged for something new.
Where do I go?
The Honey Jar on Gooseberry Bush Day Nursery’s site.
You enter from the street at the front of the nursery.
What times can I come in?
The Clothes Swap will be available each day of the week during:
What can I swap?
You can swap whatever you would like!
All clothing items must be clean and in good condition upon arrival.
We will not accept underwear, socks or swimsuits/swimwear.
What will happen to items I have donated items, but nobody has taken?
Any clothing items that are left behind at the end of the week, and nobody is interested in, will be donated to a local clothes bank such as The Salvation Army.
