Saturday 15 June

Greening Daubeney Village

A celebration and showcasing of the amazing transformation the Daubeney Primary School community, in partnership with local charity Natural Neighbours, has made to the school grounds. Tonnes of lifeless AstroTurf have been removed and replaced with trees, shrubs, meadow mounds, a wildlife pond and wending pathways for students and adults alike to enjoy and decompress from the stresses of the classroom in. Shade-giving, wildlife-friendly trees have been planted into the baking expanse of the asphalt playground. Most of all, this is a celebration of the community that Natural Neighbours supported to make these changes.
