Oswestry's Green Day

Oswestry is holding its first Green Day on Saturday 15 June 2024.

Green Day is being organised by Oswestry in Bloom and supported by Oswestry Town Council.

This free event will take place in Oswestry town centre from 10am to 2pm. Oswestry town.

Green Day will promote the environment and sustainability and have invited local groups and businesses to offer residents and visitors an opportunity to explore easy changes to their daily lives that may help to protect the environment and could save money.

We envisage having a range of stalls selling local and sustainable products, including organic foods and eco-friendly street food, plus children’s activities and plant swap. Also stands from organisations and groups specialising in recycling, repairing, gardening, composting, cycling, renewable energy, home insulation, etc.

Given the nature of the event, all giveaways, promotional materials, food & drink containers, will be compostable or recyclable.
