Saturday 15 June

Peel Park Moth Morning (Moth Celebration!)

On Saturday 15th June 2024, 9am-12pm, THE PROSPECTS FOUNDATION will be hosting a Moth Morning at Peel Park & the Coppice LNR.

As part of the site’s monthly moth surveys, we will be opening a moth trap left overnight in the nearby Pleck Meadow. As June is usually one of the busiest month’s for moth recording, PROSPECTS is inviting everyone to come take part in the survey and get familiar with these beautiful yet misunderstood insects.

Some food and refreshments will be available.

Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
