More about Weymouth Local Green Week

A week of events celebrating the wonderful things that the people and groups of Weymouth are doing to lesson their impact on the earth and to prepare for a changeable future including how we are swapping hope, things and habits.

Weymouth Climate Hub will be supporting, facilitating and running events locally including at St Nics Gallery in the centre of town.  Check out the Weymouth Climate Facebook page for the most up-to-date information about events.

Key events so far are:

Opening the week with a stall and activities at the Redlands SummerFest.

Various pop-up events at various locations around Weymouth including a community bike ride, community meal and workshops.

A closing party at St Nics Gallery in Weymouth with stalls, a clothes swap and upcycling workshop, Spoken Word event and a live band with DJ in the evening.

If you are running or intend to run your own Great Big Green Week event in Weymouth then please do choose “Weymouth Local Green Week” as the overarching event in Weymouth if you wish.

If you want to get involved with us to help make Great Big Green Week even more amazing than last year by volunteering, holding your own event or helping with organising, then please do contact us at: gbgw@weymouthclimatehub.com.
