Westmill Wind Farm and Solar Park Guided Tour

The Westmill Wind Farm and Solar Park is a pioneering community energy hub, located on the Oxfordshire/Wiltshire border.

Completed in 2011, Westmill is unique with both wind and solar community-owned electricity generation on one site. In fact, the solar park was the first community-owned of its kind in the UK.

Here is your chance to come and see how it all works!

Join us on-site at Westmill to learn about renewable energy and hear the eventful history of the site. Then, find out about the installation and energy generation of the five turbines and over twenty-thousand solar panels.

This tour offers a unique, intimate and understandable perspective on how a wind farm and solar park works, all led by our team of friendly volunteer guides!

**PLEASE NOTE: You must BOOK IN ADVANCE for this one-off event. This allows us to plan for capacity and guards against turning unbooked visitors away on the day. Please book via the relevant link included in this listing.
