Saturday 18 May
We are excited to tell you that on Saturday 18th May 2024 between 10:00 and 14:00 we will be holding our 2nd Eco Fayre in Portchester, Fareham, in line with many other towns in Hampshire. The Fayre will be held within Wicor Primary School’s extensive grounds which have won national awards for their horticultural and natural history work and well known within Hampshire having been featured on Solent TV, Solent Radio and BBC Gardeners’ World. Additionally, we open yearly to the public under the National Garden Scheme and are fully accessible for wheelchairs. Please visit here to watch our video and read some of the feedback we had from the 2023 Eco Fayre.
The aim is to bring all things sustainable to our local community, to educate on how to move forward in protecting our planet and to bring attention to your businesses. After last year’s success celebrating ‘earth-friendly living’, many found the day fun, and informative for all the family. Likeminded companies could connect with other business and the local community in practical sustainability, offering the public tips and ideas for reducing their carbon footprint. There will be children’s activities, such as pond dipping and meeting the farm animals, along with food and drink available on the day. Dogs are welcome!
