Wildlife Walk

The park in all it’s glory!

Spring is in full force and the Park is changing – orchids are flowering and butterflies and dragonflies are everywhere! Our brilliant expert volunteers will take you on a guided walk around the Millennium Country Park to spot and identify some of the amazing wildlife that we see at this time of year.

No dogs are allowed on this walk.

Please dress for the weather and make sure to wear sturdy footwear.

Accessibility: Many of the Millennium Country Park paths are wheelchair and pushchair friendly, and we have accessible toilets on site. For this event we may be venturing onto the callow mounds which has varied footpaths that are not all highly accessible – if you have any additional mobility needs, please contact us prior to the walk and we will aim to offer you an alternative route.

The Great Big Green Week is the UK’s biggest ever celebration of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature.

Every year, people come together to unleash a wave of support for action to protect the planet. Tens of thousands of people in every corner of the country celebrate the heartfelt, brave, everyday actions being taken to stand up for nature and fight climate change.

The week will be returning across Bedford for the 4th year in a row, with a variety of events and activities taking place across the week.
