World Ocean Day Beach Clean

Join Wild Planet Trust in celebrating World Ocean Day on 8th June

We’ll be cleaning our way from Broadsands Beach to Elberry Cove, exploring two of our incredible local beaches. This event also celebrates The Great Big Green Week and The Big Help Out – two amazing initiatives encouraging people to explore the natural environment and learn about local volunteering opportunities.

We’ll be meeting by the sea wall at Broadsands Beach at 12pm (look for the WPT flag!) for a quick safety briefing, before heading off to see what the tide has left behind. Everyone is welcome, but please note that dogs are not allowed on Broadsands Beach after 1st May.

This is a free event, but booking is recommended. All kit will be provided by Wild Planet Trust please dress appropriately for the weather. If we do need to cancel due to poor weather conditions, you will receive an email and it will be on our social media. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch: seagrass@wildplanettrust.org.uk
