XR Bangor at Draig Beats

Come and join us on the Extinction Rebellion Bangor stall to meet other people concerned about how best to respond to the climate and biodiversity emergency! Complete the Climateometer so that we can let local politicians know what people want. Use our badge machine to make your own badge to let others know what you value. Use our video booth to make your own mini video to share your views on social media.and to let prospective parliamentary candidates know what voters want. Take part in a Mindfulness and nature session, lead by mindfulness teacher Heather, in the Botanical gardens.  Or simply get support and a friendly ear by sharing your thoughts and feelings with us! Dewch i ymuno â ni ar stondin Gwrthryfel Difodiant Bangor i gwrdd â phobl eraill sy’n poeni am y ffordd orau i ymateb i’r argyfwng hinsawdd a bioamrywiaeth! Cwblhewch yr Hinsawddomedr fel y gallwn roi gwybod i wleidyddion lleol beth mae pobl ei eisiau. Defnyddiwch ein peiriant bathodynnau i wneud eich bathodyn eich hun i roi gwybod i eraill beth rydych chi’n ei werthfawrogi. The Extinction Rebellion stall will be part of the Draig Beats Event taking place in Treborth Botanic Garden in Bangor.

Draig Beats is a family friendly, fundraising event, that continues to enhance links between the University and local communities.

There will be plenty of live music, talks, workshops, food and drink, showcasing local initiatives and lots of activities to keep the kids busy!
