Great Big Green Week Leighton Buzzard

Activities include:

• Special schools competition to “Design a logo for the Borrowers LB Library of Things project (competition open until Sat 7 June and results announced on Sat 15 June – see more information at: https://www.facebook.com/totallyleightonbuzzard/posts/858996316258535

• Sat 1 June 10am – Summer Foraging with Tapas Tasters led by Hedgewitch Adventures – Meet: Globe Inn – Cost £35 (adults) £17.60 (children) – book on Eventbrite
• Mon 3 June 10am Litter Pick organised by Leighton Linslade Town Council meeting at Duncombe Car Park
• Sat 8 June 10am to 3pm – Volunteering Fair at All Saints Church (as part of The Big Help Out and Volunteers Week) – see more details at: https://www.facebook.com/events/1080090849841313 
• Sat 8 June 10.30am to 2pm – Love Nature in the Churchyard, All Saints Church
• Sun 9 June 3pm to 6pm – Acoustic Jam and Vegetable Jam Session at The Black Lion
• Tues 11 June 6.30pm – Knolls Wood Guided Walk (meet at Sandy Lane entrance sign)
• Wednesday 12 June 6pm – Community Energy Talk at Friends Meeting House
• Thurs 13 June 8pm – Clothes Swish Event at The Crooked Crow Bar (Cost £2) – Drop off clothes from 3pm to 7pm – Book in advance
• Sat 15 June 8am to 3pm – Farmers Market and Great Big Green Week Action Day at Leighton Buzzard Market
• Sat 15 June 10am – Leighton Buzzard Ramblers 90 min guided walk meeting at Bandstand in Parsons Close
• Sat 15 June 10am to 12pm – Youth Rangers Day at Totternhoe Knolls organised by Wildlife Trust BCN – MUST pre-book in advance on Eventbrite
• Sun 16 June 11am  – Litter Pick meeting by Fly Past Memorial on Bridge Street
• Sun 16 June 2pm to 5pm – Let’s Make a Vegetable Instrument at Ollie Vees (for families)
• Sat 22 June 10.30am to 1.30pm- Repair Cafe Leighton Buzzard at the Royal British Legion Leighton Buzzard – register to attend with 1 item at https://repaircafe.leightonbuzzard.org. Free to attend. Donations welcome
• Sun 23 June – Knolls Wood Action Day

Multiple dates – Sun 9 June, Mon 10 June, Thurs 13 June and Sun 16 June – the Friends of Tiddenfoot Waterside Park will be doing litter picks (times vary but generally start at 9am meeting at car park
