Sunday 16 June
Meet up in the centre of town and enjoy the fresh air while we, as a group, tackle some of the mess left by litterlouts. Whether taking quiet time or enjoying chat with like-minded Planet Protectors, everyone is welcome*.
Litterpickers will be provided but if you have your own please do bring it. Bags will also be provided, we will aim to avoid using virgin plastic so any parcel packaging and similar is useful.
Littering can be harmful to wildlife, can pollute our waterways, is unsightly and can attract negative behaviour. It’s clear to see the problem is rife and the solution needs to come from the top down. Nobody wants to pick up other people’s rubbish, but until something changes, let’s do some good together.
*Under 14s need to be accompanied by an adult. You are welcome for the whole hour or just a part of it.
